Voice Lessons for Students in Middle School and High School

CMA offers private voice lessons to students with prior lesson experience as well as beginners. These lessons will focus on developing techniques and musicianship skills no matter what the level of the student may be.

For beginners, these lessons will help establish a vocal foundation that will hopefully turn into a lifelong passion. Experienced players will be given opportunities to build upon their existing skills and elevate their level of playing. Under the hands-on guidance of our faculty, all students will be challenged to explore and develop their playing in a variety of styles, ranging from classical, jazz, pop, rock and much more.

During these lessons students will establish techniques needed to excel in their school choir programs and beyond.

The following concepts will be covered in the weekly voice lessons:

  • Technique (breathing, tone production, intonation, body position)
  • Repertoire
  • Ear-Training
  • Voice Care and Maintenance

There will be three casual and fun recitals per year where students perform. In addition to the weekly voice lessons, 14 electives are included in membership to CMA. Electives help broaden enrich the music learning process.
