The Basics

Here the basics on how our lessons work from your first contact with CMA moving forward.

Things will roughly happen in this order...

  • You will submit this form and we'll get back to you with a teacher recommendation (or perhaps we'll have a few more questions before recommending a teacher).
  • You will be able to log in to our website so you can choose an available time in the recommended teacher's schedule and arrange for tuition payments.
  • Tuition can be paid with a recurring monthly charge (the least expensive option) or you can pay for four lessons at a time - specifics will be emailed to you.
  • Lessons meet once a week at the same time.
  • This goes until you cancel your recurring payment option.
  • Between lessons you can log on to the CMA website and see assignments and assessments written by your teacher - this way you (or your child) will know what to practice.
  • If your child has an email address, they can get their own login to the website - just let us know their email address and we'll put them in the system.
  • There will be three recitals during the school year. It's important that everyone plays so they build confidence and get the rush of playing in front of people. Even the shy kids come around to loving this. Adult students don't have to do this - they will do anti-recitals from time to time.

These are the basics! Once you submit this form, we'll email you all the fine print about our policies and tuition info.
