Anna Freedman

Anna is a diverse musician and passionate teacher. As a classical pianist, she is a two-time winner of the Northwest Chopin Festival and three-time winner of the Anna Rollins Johnson Piano Scholarship Competition. Anna is also an avid New Orleans-style pianist and performed at the Columbia City Blues Festival in 2015 and 2016. In addition, Anna has studied voice and songwriting extensively. She released her first record Big Plans in 2017 and was selected as one of the Fremont Abbey's 2017 NEXT STAGE artists. Anna is in her last quarter of studying music at the University of Washington. With over three years of teaching experience, Anna's philosophy is to foster well-rounded students who can confidently read music, play by ear, and create original compositions.
