Rock Classes for Kids from 12-18

The rock classes for teenagers provide an exciting way for kids to play the music they enjoy. Students will learn how to play popular rock and pop songs in ensembles. Students are able to sign up as a pre-formed band or individuals. All instruments and singers are welcome. We have a staff of professional musicians and teachers that can help students feel more comfortable with their instrument as well as learning important ensemble skills.

Students will be grouped according to age and experience. They will learn important rehearsal and communication skills during rehearsals. Basic musicianship skills are developed so students build confidence to play in different musical experiences.

Teachers of the class have performed and toured with many popular and rock bands. They also have experience verbalizing the concepts in a clear way so the students can grasp the ideas quickly.

During the semester there will be a recording session of each group as well as a performance at a local music venue.
