Thanks to everyone who attended our parent meetings over the course of July and August.  We appreciate your time and effort - we know you are busy.  It is also great to see and hear such positive response.  The August 15 goal of receiving all the forms may actually happen thanks to your timely responses.

For those of you who were unable to attend the meetings, it is very important that you read over the forms on the website and return them to CMA by August 15 if possible.  We would hate for anyone to miss out on these new programs we are so excited about.

Here is a quick summary of what was covered at the meeting...

1.  Students will see us up to 26 times each semester - 17 lessons, 7 electives and 2 recitals.  We have found that there are certain musical, social, community building elements that we can do better in developing.  We don't want to take away from the important time students have with their current teachers.  We just want to round out each students' development and create more of a community among the families and students at CMA.  Each student will choose one elective for each semester.  The students should select the electives that are appropriate for their age and level.  Some 5th graders with experience can ask to join the intermediate classes.  The advanced classes will be available by audition or teacher recommendation.  Please fill out and select your desired elective on this form.

2.  We have worked very hard in keeping the cost of these extra sessions to a minimum.  The tuition has gone up some.  Please review the tuition and policies on this form and submit this to CMA when you request your electives.

3.  We have a new billing system in place for the fall that involves automatic payment for tuition.  It is all detailed in the form above in item #2.

Please review and submit the two forms (elective brochure and student agreement ) by August 15 if possible.  We want to make sure we meet as many schedule requests as possible.
