The faculty at Creative Music Adventures is a tremendous resource for high-school jazz band educators.  We offer years of experience in helping high-school music students reach their potential.

With many accomplished rhythm section players on staff, Creative Music Adventures can effectively demonstrate and communicate important concepts in a simple and clear fashion.  The students will learn to play together, communicate effectively with each other, build confidence, support the band and sound better.

We hope to make the educators’ job easier while empowering them with new information to help them gain confidence in working with rhythm sections.

Jazz improvisation clinics are a great way for students to gain confidence and skill in jazz improvisation.  Creative Music Adventures can bring students from a very basic level and equip them with the skill set to play creative and effective solos in a jazz context.

The clinics work best if presented over a series of regularly scheduled dates where the students can prepare between sessions.  If you need to cram before a big gig, we can do a crash course in one or two sessions.

Creative Music Adventures takes pride in offering access to tremendous players with excellent verbal and education skills.  The work with the kids will be hands-on, encouraging and positive.  We want the kids to be playing most of the time so they build confidence and hear the new concepts at work.  We are able to provide lectures but prefer not to do that for these sessions.
