Rock Classes for Kids Ages 6-11

The children’s rock classes encourage kids to play popular and rock styles on different instruments.  The curriculum reinforces concepts covered in the private lessons at Creative Music Adventures.

During a typical rock class, the students will each start on the drums, guitar or keyboards.  They will be introduced to basic techniques on each instrument and then have the opportunity to rehearse their parts.  Through the course of a 50-minute class, the students will trade instruments so that they will be able to gain exposure to the different instruments and their roles.

The educational value of the rock classes is imeasurable.  Children will be exposed to important rhythm concepts, ear training, ensemble skills, arranging, composing and most important – teamwork.

These classes represent what Creative Music Adventures is all about - learning to play music with others in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
